If you are interested in becoming a new member of the ACPA, please send an email to the current Secretary/Treasurer with the following information:
- Your full name.
- Current academic affiliation (if any).
- Current professional status: faculty member, graduate student, undergraduate student, independent scholar, emerita/emeritus faculty member, etc. (If your current professional status is not captured by any of those categories, please feel free to let us know.)
- Email address.
- Mailing address.
- Research and teaching interests.
ACPA has five categories of membership:
(1) FACULTY membership (without subscription to Dao):
- $10.00 (USD), if mailed by personal check to the current Secretary/Treasurer.
- $10.50 (USD), if paid via PayPal.
(2) FACULTY membership with one year's subscription to the journal Dao: A Journal of Comparative Philosophy at a special ACPA membership discount rate:
- $53.00 (USD), if mailed by personal check to the current Secretary/Treasurer. (Must be received by February 1 in order to get the Dao subscription for that calendar year.)
- $53.00 (USD), if paid via PayPal. (Must be received by February 1 in order to get the Dao subscription for that calendar year.)
(3) Membership for STUDENTS and/or UNDEREMPLOYED PHILOSOPHERS (without subscription to Dao):
- No annual dues.
(4) HONORARY membership for emerita/emeritus faculty (without subscription to Dao):
- No annual dues.
(5) HONORARY membership for emerita/emeritus faculty with one year's subscription to the journal Dao: A Journal of Comparative Philosophy at special ACPA membership discount rate:
- $43.00 (USD), if mailed by personal check to the current Secretary/Treasurer. (Must be received by February 1 in order to get the Dao subscription for that calendar year.)
- $43.00 (USD), if paid via PayPal. (Must be received by February 1 in order to get the Dao subscription for that calendar year.)
